How to Sell a Mobile Legends Account Safely (2026 Guide)
Sell your Mobile Legends account without getting scammed. What buyers pay for, how to price and list it, and how Midman escrow holds payment before handoff.
To sell a Mobile Legends account safely, list it on ASCEND with fresh screenshots, price it against similar live listings, and let Midman escrow hold the buyer's payment before you touch the login. You move the Moonton Account to the buyer only once the money is locked, and you get paid when they confirm it works.
Almost every seller who loses an account loses it the same way. A buyer in a group chat asks for the login "just to check the skins", the seller sends it, and the buyer disappears with the account and the money. This guide covers what your account is worth to a buyer, how to list it, and how to hand it over so the buyer's money is locked before you give up the account.
One honest note first. Moonton's terms prohibit transferring accounts, and an account that changes hands can be actioned by Moonton. No marketplace changes that rule. What ASCEND changes is the risk between you and the buyer: the payment, the record of the sale, and what happens if there is a dispute.
What are you actually selling?
You are selling control of the Moonton Account. That is the email and password login that sits underneath everything else, and it is the part a buyer has to end up owning. The social binds on top of it (Facebook, Google, VK, TikTok, Apple) are only extra ways to log in to the same account.
That matters because a sale is not finished when the buyer can log in. It is finished when your email is no longer on the account and none of your social logins still open it. If your Facebook is still bound after the sale, you still have a door into the account, and a careful buyer will refuse to confirm until it is gone. They are right to.
If your account has never had a Moonton Account email set up, set one up before you list. An account that only exists behind a single social login is much harder to hand over cleanly, and buyers who know the game will ask about it straight away.
What makes a Mobile Legends account valuable?
Buyers pay for what they cannot get by installing the game today. In practice that comes down to six things.
| What buyers look at | Why it changes the price |
|---|---|
| Skins. Tier and rarity of each one | Legend, Collector, M-series and KOF skins, plus older Starlight skins, are the hardest to get now. Epic and Special skins add to the total. Elite and Basic skins add little |
| Heroes owned. How many of the 120+ heroes | A full or near-full roster saves a buyer a long grind and lets them play any role from day one |
| Rank. Current tier and highest tier reached | Mythic and above (Mythical Honor, Mythical Glory, Mythical Immortal) attract buyers who want to skip the climb |
| Emblems. Levels across the emblem sets | Maxed emblems take a long time to build and affect every match |
| Credit score and history. Clean record, no warnings | A low credit score restricts ranked play, so buyers check it before anything else on the profile |
| Server. The region the account sits on | Playing far from the account's server means higher ping, so region narrows who will buy |
Skins usually carry most of the price. If you want to know which ones buyers ask about most, the most valuable MLBB skins resale guide goes through them one by one.
How do you price a Mobile Legends account?
Price it against what similar accounts are listed for right now, not against what you spent on diamonds. Money already spent is gone. A buyer pays for what the account is today.
Open the Mobile Legends listings on ASCEND and find the accounts closest to yours on skins, rank and hero count. That is your range. If your account has a rarer skin set than the comparable listings, price above them and say why in the description. If it has less, price below and expect a faster sale.
Two things move the price that sellers often miss.
Season timing. Rank partially resets each season, so a Mythic account listed right after a reset shows a lower current tier than it did a week earlier. Your highest rank still counts, but buyers react to what they see on the profile. The season reset and resale value guide explains when listing works in your favour.
Proof. Two identical accounts do not sell for the same amount if one has clear, recent screenshots and the other has three blurry ones. Buyers discount what they cannot verify.
If you are unsure where to start, the account value check shows the price tiers for the game with live comparable listings, and the How much is my gaming account worth guide covers the method for any game.
How to list your Mobile Legends account
Listing on ASCEND is free, and you can upload up to 10 screenshots. Use them. Take every screenshot on the day you list, full screen, with nothing cropped out.
- Profile page. Current rank, highest rank, match count and win rate in one shot.
- Skin collection. Scroll the full list and capture it, with the rare tiers shown clearly.
- Hero list. The owned hero count.
- Emblems. The emblem page with levels visible.
- Credit score. Buyers will ask, so answer it up front.
- Account settings. The screen that shows which logins are bound, with private details covered.
Then write the description in plain lines: server, current and highest rank, number of heroes, number of skins with the rare ones named, and which logins are currently bound. State that you are the original owner, or say clearly if you bought the account from someone else. A buyer who finds a surprise during the check has a fair reason to refuse the account, so the listing should contain no surprises.
How does the handoff work when you sell a Mobile Legends account?
The handoff is the point where control of the Moonton Account moves to the buyer. On ASCEND it happens after the money is already held, which is the whole point of selling this way.
- The buyer pays into Midman escrow. Midman is ASCEND's escrow service. It holds the payment so neither side can touch it until the sale is finished.
- You change the Moonton Account email to the buyer's address. This is done in the Moonton Account Center. A verification code goes to your old email, so you have to be the one who starts it. If a code is also sent to the new address, the buyer passes it to you inside the transaction.
- You remove every social bind. Facebook, Google, VK, TikTok, Apple. Anything left bound is a way back in.
- The buyer sets a new password and binds their own logins. From this point you cannot get in, and the buyer can see that for themselves.
- The buyer checks the account against the listing and confirms. When they confirm, Midman releases the payment to you.
Keep every message inside the ASCEND transaction. If the buyer raises a problem instead of confirming, the payment stays in escrow and support reviews that record. Messages sent on another app are not part of it.

Instant or Manual delivery: which should you pick?
ASCEND gives sellers two delivery options. With Instant Delivery you enter the login when you create the listing and the buyer receives it automatically after paying. With Manual delivery you send the login to the buyer yourself after the payment is held. In both cases the money stays in Midman escrow until the buyer confirms the account.
For Mobile Legends, Manual delivery is usually the better fit. Changing the Moonton Account email needs a code from your old inbox, so you have to be present for the handoff anyway. Manual delivery also means the login is not stored anywhere until a paying buyer exists.
How does Midman escrow protect the seller?
Escrow fixes the order of the sale. The buyer's money is locked first, and only then do you move the account. That removes the two ways sellers normally lose.
Fake payment. A screenshot of a transfer is not money. On ASCEND the payment is either in escrow or the handoff does not start, so there is nothing to take on trust.
Paying you directly, then reversing it. When a buyer pays you directly and reverses the payment later, you have already given up the account. With escrow the payment is confirmed on the platform before you move the account, and it is released to you after the buyer confirms. The guide to how escrow protects sellers covers this in detail.
Fees are simple. Listing is free, the seller fee is 5%, and the buyer pays 2% on their side. Buyers pay with any method enabled at checkout, processed by PayMongo.
You can also complete government ID verification to earn a Verified badge on your profile. It is optional, but buyers can filter listings to verified sellers, so a listing without the badge drops out of that filter.
Mistakes that cost MLBB sellers the sale
Sending the login "for checking". Every seller scam story starts here. On ASCEND the buyer checks the account after paying into escrow, not before.
Leaving a social bind attached. Sellers forget the Facebook bind more than any other. Remove all of them during the handoff.
Old screenshots. A rank screenshot from last season is a wrong screenshot this season. Retake everything on listing day.
Rounding up the skin count. Count what is there. If the listing says more than the account holds, the buyer will find out during the check.
Finishing the sale somewhere else. A buyer who asks to pay you directly to "save the fee" is asking you to give up the escrow. The fake buyer guide lists the lines they use, and the first-time seller mistakes post covers the rest.
Frequently asked questions
Is selling a Mobile Legends account allowed?
Moonton's terms prohibit transferring accounts, and Moonton can act on an account that changes hands. ASCEND protects the payment and the process between buyer and seller. It does not change Moonton's rules, and you should sell knowing that.
Can I sell an account that is only bound to Facebook?
Set up the Moonton Account email first. A buyer needs to own the email and password login, and handing over a personal Facebook account is not a safe way to sell. Once the Moonton Account exists, the Facebook bind can be removed during the handoff.
When do I get paid?
When the buyer confirms the account matches the listing. Midman holds the payment until that confirmation and then releases it to you. If the buyer opens a dispute instead, the payment stays in escrow while support reviews the transaction record.
Should I sell before or after the season reset?
Before, if rank is a big part of your account's appeal. The current tier drops at the reset, and buyers react to the tier they see. If your account is mostly about skins, timing matters much less.
Do I need to change the in-game name before selling?
No. The buyer can rename the account once they own it, using a Name Change Card. Leave the name as it is so it matches your screenshots during the check.
