Frequently Asked Questions
- Do buyers really pay extra at checkout?
- Yes — a 2% buyer fee is added to the listing price at checkout. For a ₱1,000 account, the buyer pays ₱1,020.00 total. There are no other charges added on top.
- How much does the seller actually receive?
- Sellers receive the listing price minus a 4% platform commission and 1% escrow protection fee — together, 5%. On a ₱1,000 sale, that's ₱950.00 paid out.
- What does the 1% escrow protection cover?
- It funds the dispute resolution system: chargeback handling, refund processing, and case review. A seller attempting to reclaim the account is accepted grounds for a dispute — open one before you confirm access and the escrow hold is reversed in full.
- When is the fee charged?
- The buyer fee is charged at checkout, when payment moves into escrow. The seller commission and escrow fee are deducted only when payment is released — after the buyer confirms delivery. If a trade is cancelled, every centavo is refunded.
- Are there monthly or subscription fees?
- No. Listing accounts on ASCEND is completely free. Fees only apply on completed sales — if nothing sells, you pay nothing.
- Will fees change in the future?
- If we ever change a fee rate, current sellers get 30 days notice and listings already in-flight keep their original pricing. We post every change publicly here.
